About

Madelaine is a Toronto-based Art Director and Artist, who creates unique visualized branding content for clients and artists. Currently working for Spark Growth as an Art director and Designer, she has worked with Alger, Exeltis, Mental Health Organization, Influential Executive creating innovative paid ads campaigns and social content to help reach client goals, visions and grow beyond. 

Her most recent editorial project with le Freak Media is she art-directed and curated le Freak Media's first issue Magazine 01. with Letizia Firmani. On the side, she founded Ila Castella, an art & fashion local brand, that makes apparel, printed merchandise, freelance illustrations and album art, often combining the Japanese and North America pop fashion scene in her work. 

Honours BAA Illustration 2018 Graduate from Sheridan College, she has worked 6 years in-house and freelance in Graphic Design, Social Media Marketing and Visual-Merchandising. In 2018, she worked for Toronto Harajuku Style as an Art Director to create engaging marketing materials, social media content and helped plan and organize community events. In the same year, she worked for LocalTO (Community Market Toronto) as a Visual-Merchandiser and Social media marketer at their Union Station pop-up store that has driven a community success.
